Weekly Wrap-up 9-8-2017

Written by on September 9, 2017

Hey everyone!

It’s Austin here with this week’s weekly wrap up. Part one of our discussion about digital currency and it’s viability as a world currency was released last Monday. This was a very difficult topic for us to tackle, but I’m please with the finished product. I think that my initial reservations stemmed from my ignorance about Bitcoin in comparison to Jon’s above average knowledge about it. However, Jon did an excellent job explaining it to all of us. That is really the point of the show, after all. We are all listening because we want to learn.

I want to be very transparent about this show with our listeners. If we feel like an episode doesn’t meet our quality standards, we will probably still release it, but will be upfront about our feelings on the topic. You should do the same. Be honest about your feelings on the show. It’s the only way we will improve.

Last week’s wrap up was very short and sweet. I want to continue our focus on the hurricanes that are plaguing our cities. Texas is still recovering from Harvey, Florida is gearing up for Irma, Mexico has Katia to deal with, and Jose is bringing up the rear. This is a very scary and stressful time to live in that part of the world. Give what you can to help. Also, always stay conscientious of your effect on the environment. This is our only planet and we need to cherish is.

Part two of our discussion on Bitcoin will be releasing this Monday, September 11th. I am very excited about this episode. We will be discussing the dark side of Bitcoin. Theft. Fraud. Murder?! All of this and more on the next Think On This.
